While few eye doctors provide myopia control with 1% atropine due to the side effects of mydriasis and cycloplegia, many are beginning to use low concentration atropine, which provides meaningful myopia control with few side effects. A review of the literature will provide evidence-based information about myopia control and side effects. We will also discuss management of myopia control using atropine.
